I was patiently waiting for a while for new music from you and here is the delivery I was waiting for! Didn't expect a slight genre change but it's always good to hear artists change.

Pretty interesting change of pace, slightly reminds me of Portal due to that acid synth. At other times it sounds like something that would be some sort of bossfight. Although this isn't really my style.

Awesome to know you are still making stuff though! See you in another half year when you release another song lol

Cacola responds:

I've been trying forever to nail that portal synth sound and this was the song where i finally perfected it lol. thanks for being patient, I've been exploring a bunch of new genres and sounds in my absence, this song was basically meant to be an EDM interpretation of Black Metal music, my biggest influence being Mayhem and Ulver.

thank you for the review <3

This one is pretty good although I have some complaints.

The synths are waaay too quiet... Well, not that quiet but in comparison to your last track this one is a lot more quiet.

The synth at the "drop" is very annoying and sounds like really bad dubstep. Although I'm sure this is intentional.

Although I do like a lot about this too.

The intro is just great, just straight up awesome. The way it starts somewhat distorted and then adds the bassdrum is just great.

The buildup to the "drop" is also great, mostly because of the synth.

Sample use is good and all but I'm pretty sure this can get you banned mostly because of this section of the audio TOS:

"You may not use copyrighted / unlicensed samples.

You aren't allowed to have ANY copyrighted samples in your song. Not even a millisecond. Movie quotes, game sound effects, acapellas of popular singers, etc. have a VERY good chance of being copyrighted."

Although, I'm not 100% sure the clips you used are copyrighted or unlicensed.

Overall good song but quiet and a bit annoying at parts.

CanTrollYourMind responds:

Just report me, guy. I hate having to try and translate your reviews. It always sound like you threatening people or something and I actually hate using NG because of it.

Not entirely sure if you made this so I'm gonna keep the scoring low-ish.

I'd recommend talking about what you did making this song in the description because I'm not entirely sure how or what you used to make this.

Although I will say that at parts of the song it feels empty, like at the start and the samples seem a bit poorly used and under implemented. Not much was done with it but I like the use of it.
(The pewdiepie sample use was my favorite lol)

The little break near the end is a little odd and not very much of a break. It's a bit too bass-y and the transition to the next drop is a bit too abrupt, I'd suggest a fade to the next drop even if it's quick.

The genre label is a bit off in my opinion too but I can understand the choice of dubstep as the genre label.

But if you really made this track, I think it's good I'd just recommend stating your ways of making it because I'm not 100% sure you made it.

I'll be checking your posts in the future, if you keep this up and say what you did making this I'll consider scouting you.

CanTrollYourMind responds:

Yeah, I made this. 100% in reaper using Synth1, TranceDrive, a pack of drums I found by searching free edm drum samples pack on google and audio from shit I watch on the internet. NOT SURE why your scoring low because you aren't sure I made it. That's totally unprompted but beyond that you are then acting as if I made it before going back to the assumption that I didn't make it. What possible reason would you have for thinking I didn't make this? Is it because you can't quantify how this was made or something? Do you want my stems, nigga?

Also the genre label is WAAAY the fuck off. This is closer to like electro house but it's not electro enough really plus I don't really dig the lack of options on NG.

(Oh and there is a certain vst guitar amp that runs as FE3 or something that I put on the bass. Other than that all comps, eqs, and verb effects are stock REAPER plugins)

Is this inspired by recent events?

Don't usually listen to speedcore but I particularly enjoyed this track, the drums don't entirely take the full stage which is a thing I don't like too much about speedcore.

The synths are pretty nice and melodic but the vocal samples are a little strange. They don't feel all too fitting or too well implemented but that comes from someone who doesn't really like random vocal samples but then again I'm probably crazy and this really isn't a point.

Interesting track either way, will be following for more!

etK responds:

Thanks a lot for the constructive criticism! What you say about the vocals may be a valid point, you're not crazy haha. and I'm glad you liked the track!
And yeah to answer you the title is inspired by the fact that youtube pisses me off every fucking day, both as someone who has a channel and as someone who enjoys video content on the internet.

Not very good in my opinion.

The production seems kinda flat at the drop, it's supposed to feel intense but feels a bit underwhelming and stale. The buildup is very nice but the high pass filter near the end of it (I think it is a high pass at least) sounds very off.

The second drop is a bit better but still very stale sounding and just as underwhelming as the first.

The growls in the first drop sound very low quality too as if they were taken directly from a Skrillex song and given a bad high pass filter.

Start is probably the best sounding part actually sounding like a decent start to a dubstep song.

Overall not very good but I see potential.

WR4ITHExtras responds:

Haha, yeah, my thoughts exactly. There's a reason I never finished this one. The reason the growl sounds like that is because it's a placeholder sample that I never got around to replacing. As is the case with quite a few synths in this track. Thanks for the feedback nonetheless :)

Anonymous this may not be, but it is still probably one of if not my favorite from UNIFICATION.

I do think this song has some flaws, mostly being insanely repetitive, and the part around nine minutes in sounding very empty almost bad MIDI quality. But I don't really mind as the song does build up very well ending in that saxophone (possible VST, I'm on to you Cacola) which was executed great. Love it, have listened to it multiple times already.

Cacola responds:

damn a proper review with like, the context of the song understood and analyzed, props dude, that's a rarity on NG. Extra kudos for actually listening to the album I made it for lol (the JAPAN song was better)
yea it's a bit repetitive but when u gotta reach 30 minutes some sacrifices have to made lol. I've made super long songs (50+ minutes) with very little repetition and it took over a fucking year so I did a different approach on this one lol. I understand what u mean though. I wanted to do like a sonic 3 soundtrack version of Long Season by Fishmans (look it up amazing album fully worth your time) so yea the midi thing was my idea on purpose.

Saxophone solo was made with this gucci ass kontackt library so you found me out on that one

thanks man glad you liked it! ♥

Really love this song, don't really have much to say, not my favorite song on the album but I love it either way, I loved the sampling of songs and how they all flowed together in the end.

(Question, is that genesis style samples near the end of the song?)

Cacola responds:

that was a vst that imitates genesis fm synthesis actually.
Thank you very much! <3
